Returns and Exchanges:

All items are final sale. If there’s a problem with your order, please reach out within 7 days of receiving your package so that we can work on a solution together.

Customs and Duties:

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I will ship your package as quickly as I can, but I cannot be responsible for delays due to customs.

As of August 29th, the United States has implemented new regulations, but Soft Spoken is continuing to ship. All of my products are made in Canada and are CUSMA certified, which means that I can continue to ship to the USA duty free (no tariffs!). My American customers are incredibly important to me and this little notions shop wouldn’t be what it is without them. Rest assured that I am paying close attention to this evolving situation and doing all that I can to try and keep fees low. However, once a package leaves my hands I have no control over what happens and any import fees, duties, and taxes that may apply are the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds and cancellations will not be issued to a buyer who refuses these charges.

Shipping:

*UPDATE OCTOBER 2025: Canada Post is on strike. This means that I’m unable to deliver to rural addresses and PO Boxes, as well as to some countries. If this effects you, I will hold your package until the strike is over and will ship as soon as I am able to.

All packages ship from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Within Canada I ship using letter mail, which keeps things affordable but does not include tracking. If you’d like to upgrade to tracked shipping, please reach out and I’d be happy to create a shipping upgrade for you.

Packages shipped outside of Canada will always include tracking. Generally they reach the buyer within 14 days of shipping, though this varies by carrier and by destination.
